Large format printing is one of the specialities of Dennis Maps. Not sure what this actually means? Well, you’ll see large format posters in many different environments – at sporting events, on the wall at your child’s school, or in shopping centres, for example.
Large format litho printing used to be prohibitively expensive but technological progress means it’s both become easily affordable, and the quality is far better. It’s a very specialised kind of printing that utilises components on a larger scale. Printing press, printing plates, plate setter and paper are all larger, and it requires the kind of experience and expertise that our staff have in abundance.
We use a KBA Rapida 162a press that produces sizes from A4 right up to our own house size of 1050mm by 1485mm. The paper we use for large format posters is FSC© accredited, like all of our papers. (FSC© is a certificate system that allows consumers to identify forest products made from materials from well-managed forests). Our large format printing press can print up to 10,000 sheets an hour!
Once printed, we can send your large format poster neatly rolled in a tube or folded flat. Even our biggest posters can be folded down to A4 size for easy delivery. For a special finish, we will customise presentation boxes, carefully pack with tissue paper and stickers, and post them to your clients.
